On Politicians and Pandering to Blacks

I swear, these Democrats must think we are super stupid or something. Why do politicians try to shuck and jive, switch up their dialect, parade around with popular music artists, be seen consuming what they consider as Black food, and try and keep up with our dances? I never see them eating raisins in their potato salad, attending White cookouts, rocking out to some heavy metal, or parading around with Taylor Swift, or any popular White artist for that matter. They always keep their same speaking tone when talking to Whites and they don't feel the need to attempt to put on a blacccent or code switch. And then attempt to critique the level of our Blackness in hopes we vote for them. They reserve that foolishness just for us. I really hope this year will be different.

Kamala Harris, the current Vice President of the United States has pulled out all the stops to get her presidential nomination. She has shucked and jive so much, it's looking disgusting. She doesn't have any policies on her site and she was the border czar while Biden was in office, and we know how that turned out. All we know about her is that she cast away her Indian heritage when it suit her, and now she is hamming up the Black card she thinks she has just because she went to an HBCU. Newsflash. White kids go to HBCUs also. They can be found stepping with the fraternities and in the drumlines on YouTube. Does that make them Black? I don't think so. At the end of the day, they will go to their White worlds and do their thing. They just don't turn black because of the school they went to or the activities they partook in while at said school.

And yet, people are saying she is Black just for that.

To them, I say. GTGOHWTBS and pay attention. She is struggling to get your vote and that's it. Just like every Democrat, she will throw us to the side once she is done with us. We have become the jumpoff or the sneaky link of the Democratic Party. They court us, and then throw us away. We are their side pieces. That's it. We even let Joe Biden tell us if we don't vote for him, then we aren't Black. Since when does an old White man get to define how Black we are? Go ahead, Ill wait. I'll be damned if I let an other tell me or question my Blackness, much less another Black person do it. My Blackness isn't up for sale, nor is it to be questioned by anyone. And if someone let's someone else do that to them, then they just got punked. I'm tired of us getting punked by others. Our main music states we are so hard and brave and strong. But when it's time to show it, we are missing in action. It's like we are all talk and no action. I strongly believe the democrats need to be punished for their treatment of us for all of these generations. Not one president has attempted to address Black issues. When given the question, they all shirked it off just like Obama did when he said he was not just the Black president, but he is everybody's president. And Kamala laughed at the interviewer when she was asked the question. At the very least, Trump met with Ice Cube and tried listening to him, but Negroes disparaged Cube for coming to Trump. Biden said, "Wait till after the election." , which translates to, "Vote for me first, then Ill dodge you." I really hope this time is different. I hope Kamala doesn't win. Now hold on, that doesn't mean I'm a Trump supporter. Not at all. But there is one thing I can say about Trump is that he speaks to us the same way he talks to his White constituents. He doesn't try to use our vernacular, nor does he put a twang in his speech, like Kamala did when she was pandering, (I mean, speaking) to Black people.

Someone told me to use my Black card and vote for her. They said they are for prosecutor against felon. But they can't tell me her policies. I don't want to see her win because of her blatant disrespect of us. I don't know if I want Trump to win either. All I know is that I will research other candidates from different parties and see which one suits me best. I'm doing that because this 2 party system is a joke. And we all know it. We are stuck in the lesser of 2 evils argument yet again. Let's vote with some sensibility, instead of voting for identity politics. And just so you know. I didn't vote for Joe or Trump
when the time came to do so. I chose someone else.

I mean, how many ways do we need to tell each other that all skinfolk ain't kinfolk. Kamala is playing in our faces and people eat it up still. We throw that skinfolk phrase around and when it's time to recognize it, somehow we fail when it comes to powerful or successful people, especially politicians. Look at every Democrat ran city in the country. They have driven the cities into the ground. Black people are still getting killed in these cities by the police, and the cities are ran by Black politicians. Homelessness runs rapid and the city gets money to combat it, but that money disappears. How much more do we have to take from these politicians? How many ways we have to remind each other that all skinfolk aint kinfolk? How many instances do we need in order to see that? We can say it all day for family members and friends, but we let these politicians sit their asses in these chairs and do nothing. That's on a state and local basis. I know one thing, when I vote for my local election, some heads will roll. I don't live in a swing state, so my vote may not count towards the presidential election, but at least I will have the dignity to say that I didn't vote for a politician who thinks we are dumb and will give somebody a Black pass because they can do basic remotely Black shit that anybody can do, like be seen seasoning their food or using hot sauce, or trying to prepare collard greens.

I will make my vote count. I'm not just voting for the sticker.

That is all

Random Thoughts #15

I just saw a jeep commercial using 2pac's California Love song.  I've seen a lot of commercials using stuff created by us: our slang (even though they are about 10 years late with it), They used a rendition of Nina Simone's Feelin' Good in a pharmaceutical commercial. It's still really weird to me how much they use us and our likenesses to advertise whatever they need to advertise. It's like they can't think for themselves. I know what it looks like when they are left to their own devices from what advertisements I saw in Utah, and it's rather gross and sad. But still... it's like. They need us.  But we have shown and proven that we dont need them over the years. The civil rights generation needed them so they could feel good and accepted. We don't, and shouldn't. I think  that's what makes us different than older generations: we will do us regardless.

What is the Clear Agenda for Us as a People

I have been doing a lot of thinking, and I've come to the conclusion of asking this question in this context. We spend a lot of time being outraged about everything under the sun, even when it doesn't pertain to us as a people. The recent suspension of Whoopie Goldberg from The View due to her comment regarding the Holocaust is what sparked the title of this blog.

We can not dictate how other groups get mad when they are insulted, Jewish people felt the need to cancel her because believe it or not, contrary to her last name, Whoopie is still considered as an outsider within the Jewish Community, and they had no problem letting her know about that. Let it be known, that I don't take anybody's side in this thing, but I will say that the outrage shouldn't have even been a thing. As much as we are disregarded no matter what group we try to fit ourselves into, Black people WILL be ostracized or othered whenever the majority sees fit. And guess what? Nobody will come to our rescue. We keep saying it time and time again, "We. Have. No. Friends." But we refuse to apply that. That's why we get outraged like this. Its disgusting and exhausting to watch our people get "outaged" over and over again for something that may or may not pertain to us. With that being said, I bring to you the following:

We complain about the music, rightfully so but what is the clear agenda when it comes to music

We complain about the police shootings. Whose agenda are we on when it comes to police shootings?

Are we following BLM, Shaun King, or are we following something else? What is that clear agenda?
What is the agenda on anti-black sentiments and anti-black attacks?

What is the clear agenda on self-hate and intra-racial violence?

What is the clear agenda on economics?

What is the clear agenda on politics?

If we are going to be mad, we have to be on something that will lead us to something greater.

Otherwise, it's just fake outrage.

Using The Field of Science As a Way of Life

The only field of study that never really has the chance to repeat history is science because all they do is test hypotheses. They examine, study, learn, apply and innovate based around their findings. I think Black people ought to follow that model so we would never fall for the okeydoke and see it before it happens in the first place.

We must study our role in this country and how things got the way they were then to what they are currently. What were the attitudes of the masses at that time? How did they influence policies that were made in regards to us as a people? When did those changes take place or if there were changes? Many questions like these need to be asked in order to understand what is going on with us and what has been going on in the past.

People say we should forget the past and look towards the future instead. Blindingly looking towards the future without looking at the past is destructive and keeps a person stuck because they can’t learn from their mistakes. As a result, they will continue to repeat history. That’s where we are… still repeating history because we want to stay blind. Lather, rinse, repeat. Its self defeating at best. Id rather study, learn, do, and innovaate vs stay stuck because, “some things should stay in the past”.

The truth is, we pick and choose what we want to remember. Some are willing to hide the truth and stay willingly ignorant so they can get by. Some rather know the whole truth and be better. But one must ask themselves the following questions: “What side of history do I want to be on? Do I want to be the same as the slave who actually did their best to free themselves and their families? Or do I want to be the elderly slave who accepted their position as a slave and balked at freedom when it became an option?” Your choice.

Voting Won't do Shit for Us

This is talking about the different forms of social media. Its basically how I feel about people sending me a certain form of information. Please take this into consideration before getting huffy and puffy about what I'm about to say. Here's the thing:

Dont share any police brutality videos to me, or any bullshit involving mistreatment by white people. Ya'll might feel some kind of way about what I'm posting, but I don't care. Unless you have a solution for these intentional miscarriages of justice then you can decide to tell me what you plan on doing to actually stop these things fron happening.  Sharing them with no solution is like sending a bunch of rage porn to me. Im not interested in viewing it. Like I said, come with a solution. This has been going on forever and I dont care if "this aint the 60s". The problem is that those in the 60s dropped the ball. They raised a ruckus then shut up and got good jobs. Thats all they did. They failed to look out for those in the future.

Like I said, come with a solution. Marching, praying, begging, kneeling and stuff like that is played out, its tired and hasn't resulted in anything applicable to today. We can't vote our way out of this either because we've been voting and the shit is still going on.

Build our own so we don't have to be pandered to by these politicians or perish.

That's all I have to say about that.

On Pro Black Music

I was listening to Ruste Juxx and Pete Rock's, video  titled, "Black Fist".

Normally, I  enjoy this kind of music with a message, but it made me tired for some reason. I wondered if I should feel this way, and does it affect my status on the Blackness hierarchy Scale (c). At first, I didnt know why I felt this way, and my first reaction was fear after feeling tired. It took me some time to figure out why I was feeling that way. Now that I can articulate why, I can calmly tell a person to GTFOHWTBS if they feel some kind of way about my feelings, and here's why:

It seems we are all about talk and no action. We fall for symbols everywhere versus actually coming up with a plan to do something about where we are right now. This song is nothing but a symbolic action. How many times have we said it loud, "I'm  Black and I'm Proud"? What good is being proud to be Black when we are stuck with the same failed policies, the same stale Black politicians who serve as nothing more than Black faces in high places that emulate the same White supremacist policies that have been put into action since forever? What good is putting your fist in the air when we refuse to hold these Black politicians accountable? What good is putting your fist in the air when they enact toothess programs in order to "stop the violence" instead of offering a comprehensive witness protection program to help protect the citizens who want to report crimes? What good is being proud to be Black  when we die by the hands of White cops and so called "do gooders " who take the law into their own hands? All we do is die beautifully proud. That's it. Where is the pride in that?

Why can't we take our own neighborhoods back without cops or in some cases, the National Guard?  Why do we even need those entities in the first place? Why can't we remove all of the Asian and Arab stores and replace them with Black owned businesses? Why do we constantly ask beg and plead for help from others (so called 'Black and Brown unity')? Why can't we do this on our own? Why don't we believe in ourselves enough to the point where we don't feel the need to beg and plead? Sure, we are 13%of the population according to their statistics, but that doesnt stop others from doing what they think is necessary for their survival. We are the only ones who ask for and "need" help. Why? Where is the pride in that?  Why does Black clergy (the ones closest to the regular Black folk) blame celebrities for the lack of contribution of bettering the community when clergy are the closest ones who take money from regular Black folk in the first place? Why do they feel that celebrities (the ones who are so far removed from the regular Black experience) should step up to the plate when (as I paraphrase  Dick Gregory)  "Aint no revolution happen by blowing no damn trumpet."?  Where is the pride in that?!

Somebody please tell me where is the pride in these actions, because I really dont see a damn thing I should be proud about. Sure, we are the trendsetters when it comes to fashion, vernacular, music,  etc, but our lives are and continue to be undervalued. They only love our  political figures when they are dead, and our political efforts get glossed over while we we are alive or in action. For example, plenty of Whites hated Obama while he was president, but now that Trump is in office, all of a sudden the Obamas are the epitome of class (except while in office, Michelle Obama was "a man " and Barack  was "a Muslim terrorist", and they hated Obamacare, but loved The Affordable Care Act, but that's not my business).  Why do we continue to work where we are undervalued and underappreciated? Where is the pride in that? Again, somebody please fill me in because I must be missing something.

Sure, everybody wants what we have, but we have no real power until we divest in this system that devalues us so, and start our own without letting everybody and everybody in. That's our biggest weakness. We let our things get watered down and then throw them away once they are oversaturated with others. Don't believe me, just ask Rock,Jazz, and Blues music. Where is the pride in that?!

Anyway, that's my rant for the week. I might say something else later, I  might not. We'll see.

Time Keeps on Slipping...Slipping...Slipping

Backwards. Yes. Everything is going backwards.  America feels emboldened in their racism to the point where kids die just because  "those people" chose their house to knock on the door and ask for help. It's going backwards  because  a Black male accidentally killed a white woman and it had been ruled as an intentional murder. It's going backwards because thanks to cameras, people still get spat on for being so called "niggers" in the eyes of a white woman. I will not point you to links of these tragedies because sharing them is guaranteed to trigger a person.

My blog is not meant to trigger anyone,  it is meant to inform and offer a different take on some of these social ills that pop up far too often.

I'm pretty sure my readers have been through quite a bit themselves, and after reading this blog, it's going to be another thing they just went through, so I'll spare you guys of anything else that shows this country is moving backwards.  Or is it really stuck in the same ol' rut it's been in the 50s? I can not say because I wasn't alive during that time. But I can definitely say that this country is stuck on stupid. And it isn't  Black people who are stuck on stupid because we already know that crime happens to those who live near each other, and people often "self segregate" that way,so miss me with the "Black on Black crime" pornography description.

It is white supremacy that is stuck on stupid. They are so stuck that child molesters get months in jail and get out early for "good " behavior to the point where children won't be able to sleep knowing their monster is out there somewhere and not locked up where they should be.  White doctors poison their people under the myth that they are more sensitive to pain than Blacks, hell, Whites are less likely to do time for the same crimes that Black people get. This means if White on White crime happens, the aggressor will be out in no time, thus making their streets more dangerous. White supremacy is so stupid that they can't figure out how to prevent mass shootings. That means that they can't figure out why are Whites killing White children at alarming rates. They have no solution, but if you ask them, they have a solution to all of the murders in Chicago that happen to be Black.  To those, I  say

GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE WITH THAT MESS.  And if I have to tell these readers why, (I know I have some lurking ass Whites on my blog) then you deserve every piece of residual blowback that White supremacy should give you. I have no patience for people who feign ignorance. I have a life to attend to and you don't deserve my time like that.

That being said, America has wet the bed while it was being made,  and the main people benefitting from it will have to lie in it. So far, they are so stupid, they enjoy every bit of it. It's as if they say, "I got this mattress and I pissed on it. A bunch of other people already pissed on it so you can piss on it too.  And like a big dummy, they  say, " Okay." And they do it because, hey...no harm, no foul, right?

They can not look to Black people to do their work for them. For once in their lives, they are going to have to do the hard work of fixing this themselves, which reminds me of a shirt I saw online that said, "We should have picked our own cotton."  My response was, "Yes. You should have."

Maybe America is moving forward.  It really showed me the stupidity of white supremacy. And that's not a bad thing because I  can know what I'm looking at and react accordingly. I suggest my Black readers to not only read this blog, but take white supremacy and look at it as far as I did.  You can delve into it as deep as you want. You can discuss it with your friends and even laugh at it. And when you see "it", you will know what to do.

Be safe out here.
